Included all concrete work associated with the conversion of the production area from two assembly lines to a single line. Complex pit and foundation work was self-performed utilizing a 50-man crew working 24 hours a day. The project was completed 12 hours ahead of schedule in an extremely challenging environment (a complete plant shut-down, working among an international workforce, using significantly large equipment in compressed areas). Given BMW’s production schedule, performing within this aggressive 5-week timeline was critical.
